DocuWare Professional Server

DocuWare is the comprehensive, complete solution for securely archiving business documents of all types, making them available in a flexible way, and using them efficiently.

Regardless of the format and source, the ECM automates business processes and workflows by managing and linking documents electronically. The basis for this is the structured storage of documents in a central document pool. Every employee with the necessary authorization has access to all information needed for their work regardless of whether they are at their PC in the office or on their smartphone when on the move. All interrelated documents concerning a customer, a project, or a business process are available within a few seconds.

DocuWare Smart Connect

Smart Connect reads words directly from a third-party application user interface and then uses them as search or index words in DocuWare. Documents relating to a data record opened in the third-party application are easy to call up in DocuWare – using a button displayed in the third party application. It is just as easy to import words as index terms for documents that you want to archive in DocuWare.

DocuWare Mobile

In DocuWare Mobile, you can search in the central document pool and store digital documents from any app. Let's assume you'd like to immediately share a scanned document with your coworkers. 

The new DocuWare Mobile features a dashboard that clearly displays all current tasks. Associated documents can be conveniently retrieved from here and processed. As with the Web Client, stamps are also available. 

DocuWare Mobile runs natively on iOS, Android, and Windows smartphones. The scope of functionality is the same on all platforms. The interface is largely standardized though it takes into account some platform-specific, common operating concepts. This ensures acceptance of the app in the company, regardless of the device used.

DocuWare Connect to Outlook

Connect to Outlook, the connection from MS Outlook to DocuWare, allows you to do both: Not only can you archive your emails in an audit-compliant manner directly from Outlook, but you can also use the quick search feature to access stored emails directly.

Intelligent Indexing automatically captures the most important metadata from your scanned documents and uses it to populate index fields. The system quickly learns from feedback so that recommended index words for known document types can be automatically and reliably assigned for future filing.
Intelligent Indexing helps companies of any size to process documents that cannot be standardized, e.g. incoming invoices and delivery notes that may have a different structure and appearance, depending on the supplier. DocuWare Barcode & Forms

Many business processes can be made significantly simpler with barcodes. For example, do you receive a lot of invoices that you would like to scan and store in one operational step? You can with Barcode & Forms: attach a barcode label to the first page of every invoice and scan all your documents in one batch together. 
Each new barcode identifies a new document. DocuWare reads out the barcode number as an invoice number and uses it for the whole indexing and storage process. This also allows the document to be uniquely identified – throughout the entire company – across departments and systems.
