StapleWare Software Modules

This line of software products has been created to enhance the functionality of the DocuWare Integrated Document Management System.  Each module was written with a specific customer application in mind and then expanded to incorporate features that our clients felt would be useful.  These modules are written in Visual Studio.Net and are compatible with the DocuWare Versions 5.1b and 5.1c platforms.

Barode Analyzer (formerly StapleWare Recognition) allows barcodes to be read from TIF images, JPG (B&W and Color), PDF documents and PNG files.  Barcode Analyzer may be utilized in conjunction with the Basket Appliance as well. 

Barcode Sheet Printing allows various industries to create 8-1/2 x 11 barcode cover sheets for their records using any demographic data that is available. This completely automates the identification of each record and eliminates the inconsistencies caused by data entry. This program can be used in conjunction with DocuWare or any other document management system.  The barcode sheets can be read by DocuWare Recognition or Barcode Analyzer or other barcode reading software.

Basket Appliance allows documents in a DocuWare Basket to be processed automatically.  Features include Blank Page Dropout, Convert PDF to TIFF, Print to Printer, Phrase Identification, Processing of Multiple DocuWare Recognition/Barcode Analyzer templates, Keep Entries, Automatic storage to a Basket/File Cabinet, and Email Alerts. 

Deficiency Manager allows users to view documents in the file cabinets that are grouped together based on the needs of the user.  The program will show what documents are missing from the set list of documents that need to be processed.

Desktop Integration Tool is designed to integrate the DocuWare client with any software application that allows copy to clipboard functionality.

Microsoft Dynamics GP Integration to DocuWare is designed to allow any company using Microsoft Dynamics GP (version 10) accounting software to retrieve documents stored in a DocuWare file cabinet.  This can be done directly from the Microsoft Dynamics GP environment.  The retrieval can be based on document type, status, name, number, or any other field type.  This module will also store documents to a DocuWare file cabinet using the field values within Microsoft Dynamics GP. 

Notification Management allows an alert to be sent to an email address or group of email addresses based on the index data of documents in a DocuWare file cabinet.

Process Server allows documents in a file cabinet to be converted to a PDF and exported either to the file system, a secure FTP site, or to another file cabinet.  With the new Weblink Creator, the program can generate a link for the specified document and place the link in a designated field in the DocuWare file cabinet.

Remote Capture will capture documents that are scanned in remote locations over a wide area network to be imported to a local network folder.  Remote Capture can also be utilized to import said documents in a Windows Explorer hierarchical folder structure and use the folder names as Metadata to be indexed and stored in a DocuWare file cabinet.

ROI Director (coming soon) allows patient records in a DocuWare file cabinet to be collected and filtered prior to being released to a patient.  The patient must sign a document stating the purpose of the records, which also shows the date and time of the request.  The requested records can be exported to a USB drive or to a folder, to be placed on a CD or DVD disk.  The records can also be encrypted as they are being exported.  If encrypted, the export job will contain an encrypt/decrypt tool as well.  CCHIT Certified 2011 

Stapler allows documents inside of a DocuWare file cabinet to be stapled together based on field values in the file cabinet.  .  The Stapler function will automatically staples documents together inside of a DocuWare file cabinet that have the same index values.  This means that if the unique document field is “Invoice Number” then all invoices with the same number will be stapled together, even if they have been scanned as individual pages.

Web Client Integration Tool is designed to integrate any third-party software application that allows copy to clipboard functionality.  This function will enable a search of the DocuWare file cabinets that are available through the DocuWare Web Client.
